BALLOON TUBING

In order to manufacture high-quality balloons, you must start with outstanding balloon tubing. That is why Teleflex Medical OEM should be your supplier. We produce tubing with consistent wall thickness and excellent concentricity. Plus we have the extrusion expertise to hold tight OD and ID tolerances, and control mechanical properties, such as elongation, for better yields.

Materials:

• Nylon 12, Grilamid® and Vestamid®
• Engineered TPE’s (thermoplastic elastomers), such as Pebax®

Size Range:

• OD: 0.015” to 0.280” (+/- 0.00075” to +/- 0.00125”)
• ID: 0.009” to 0.232” (+/- 0.00075” to +/- 0.00125”)
• Wall Thickness: 0.003” to 0.024”
• Ovality: 3% to 4%, depending on size
• Concentricity: 80% to 90%, depending on size
