Teleflex Medical OEM, a global leader in custom extrusion and complex catheters, announces the acquisition of HPC Medical Products (HPC), a leader in medical tubing and wire components. The addition of HPC enhances Teleflex Medical OEM’s leadership in the arena of custom-engineered medical devices and its commitment to providing clients with advanced med tech technologies used in a variety of medical applications, which includes electrophysiology, drug and stent delivery, and neurovascular interventions.

With the acquisition, Teleflex Medical OEM significantly expands and diversifies its already extensive portfolio of in-house capabilities. HPC is known as a leading provider of low-friction PD-Slick™ liners, hybrid tubing, micro-diameter wire and tubing, and conductor embedded tubing. In addition, the company is a leading manufacturer for copper and copper alloy conductors, and high-tensile strength alloys for use in a broad range of microelectronics and specialty instrumentation.
